William King, 1st Earl of Lovelace - William King, 8th Baron King (1805-1893) became William King-Noel 1st Earl of Lovelace in 1838, and was also the Lord Lieutenant of Surrey. He was the husband of Augusta Ada (Byron) King, Countess of Lovelace, the only legitimate daugher of the 6th Lord Byron, and who is said to have been the first computer programmer.
